The idea of indoctrination has always struck me as such a hollow and baseless argument from the right. If watching a gay pride parade will make you gay, then why doesn’t reading a book about Einstein make you a genius? It really is that simple to understand!
Right? I'm old - 67 in a couple weeks. Growing up I saw NO queer representation - not on TV, not in books, not in movies, not in magazines or newspapers. But by god there was tons of heterosexuality, good old 2.5 kids, dad off to work in a suit, mom vacuuming in pearls and twin set. Despite this incessant exposure, I'm still bi. 🤷♀️
